Cooking Instructions

1. Prepared 1 litre of water and 1 packet of herbs.
2. When water is boiled put in ingredients. (Add in egg or meat to enhance the flavour).
3. Simmer with medium heat for 1 ½ hours.

Ba Zhen Soup Also known as Ba Zhen Tang

Nourishes blood and regulates the menses
For chronic liver blood deficiency causing deficiency in the Ren and Chong channels with symptoms such as dysmenorrhea, irregular menstruation, uterine bleeding, vaginal discharge, postpartum disorders, gestational disorders and spermatorrhoea

Nourishes blood and preserves yin
For liver blood deficiency with symptoms such as dizziness, tinnitus, pale and dull complexion and pale brittle nails

Softens and comforts the liver and alleviates pain
For pain, cramps, spasms in the sinews, tendons and muscles. Also used to relieve pain in the intercostal, hypochondriac and abdominal areas

Unblocks the bowels and invigorates the blood
For mild constipation caused by heat in the blood, or used to treat amenorrhoea and dysmenorrhoea

Supplements middle jiao energy, benefits the lungs, promotes the production of body fluid, nourishes blood
